As per your post, I can do it by suspending the EOI. Can you please clarify the below doubts?

1. Will I be able to resume it later or will it be done by the system after specific time?

Your EOI will stay in SkillSelect for two years from the date you submit it. At any time during the validity of your EOI, you may update your details to reflect any additional qualifications or experience you may have obtained.

An EOI is valid for 2 yrs. Suspending it only means that you will not get any invitations. The EOI will still expire after 2 yrs. Yes you can remove the suspension any time to be considered again. Submitted EOIs expire after two years.

Suspending an EOI

If you are unable to access your EOI for a length of time, then you can choose to suspend your EOI. While this will not extend the validity of your EOI it will stop you receiving invitations or contacts that you cannot act on, and will avoid your EOI being removed while you are, for example, on holiday and receive two invitations during that time.

If you receive an invitation, your EOI will be suspended automatically so your EOI cannot be considered for any subsequent invitation rounds or be available to employers to search for and contact you. Your EOI will remain suspended until such a time that you lodge a visa application and that application is finally determined or 60 days ceases and you do not lodge a valid visa application. During this time you can view your EOI and your correspondence, but cannot update your answers on your EOI or select different visa types.

Withdrawing an EOI
You can withdraw your EOI at any time by accessing your SkillSelect account and selecting the option “Withdraw EOI”. If you withdraw your EOI it will be permanently removed from SkillSelect.

Removing an EOI
If you receive two invitations and you do not lodge a visa application in response to either of these invitations, your EOI will be removed from SkillSelect.

2. Will the Date of Effect remain the same?

I am not sure which date you are referring to here.

3. If I won't susped EOI and be invited but can't lodge the visa application within 60 days, when will I get second invitation for same EOI? Is there any waiting time?

If you do not make a valid visa application after receiving two invitations, your EOI will be removed from SkillSelect.

So yes you can NOT apply after the first invitation BUT you must apply after the second invitation.

Hope this helps.
Junaid Noorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952811793361022532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499243768832871563.post-26433361119338284872015-10-06T05:02:16.776-07:002015-10-06T05:02:16.776-07:00Hi Junaid,

You first apply for EOI and once you are...@Madhuri

You first apply for EOI and once you are invited to apply for an application then you lodge an application.

It is not clear to me if you have already applied for 186 visa as 186 is only available under the following circumstances.

The Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) is for skilled workers who want to work in Australia. This visa involves a two-step process, firstly, nomination by an approved Australian employer and then an application under the nominated stream. It is part of the Permanent Employer Sponsored Visa programme.

It looks like you have already applied for 186 visa and not been sponsored by an employer. You need to first get sponsored by an employer before you apply for 186 visa.

This visa is a permanent residence visa. You can be in or outside Australia when you apply. If you are in Australia, you must hold a substantive visa or a bridging visa A, B or C.

The visa has three streams:

The Temporary Residence Transition stream is for subclass 457 visa holders who have worked for two years, while holding a subclass 457 visa, in the same occupation with their nominating employer (who has lodged a valid nomination with us under the Temporary Residence Transition stream), who wants to offer them a permanent position in that occupation.

The Direct Entry stream is for: people who have been nominated by their employer under the Direct Entry stream people who have never, or only briefly, worked in Australia, or temporary residents who do not qualify for the Temporary Residence Transition stream

The Agreement stream is for people sponsored by an employer through a labour agreement.

Once you lodge your EOI then you need to wait for an invitation to apply for an application.

You need to then apply for the visa you listed on your EOI.

Make sure you know which visa is the best for you.

Kind Regards

JJunaid Noorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952811793361022532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499243768832871563.post-30446705452137472102015-08-31T22:36:36.181-07:002015-08-31T22:36:36.181-07:00Hi Junaid,

1. I am planning to apply for 190 EOI ...@Anonymous

1. I am planning to apply for 190 EOI with 55 points for nsw.. later if i have additional points can i switch the EOI to 189 visa ?

What I would suggest you to do is to select both 189 and 190 while lodging the EOI. While you fill up the EOI itself, you can choose different visa classes such as 190, 189, 489 as you wish. But, the maximum number of invitations sent for all these visas is 2 only. If you chose both 190 and 189 and got invite under 190 but later changed to immigrate under 189 visa, then your first invite for 190 received will be expired and you must accept the second invite be it on 489 visa/189 visa or 190 visa.

But you must only lodge EOI for visas for which you have the required amount of points. If you have the passmarks for 190 but not 189 then you cannot lodge EOI for 189. I do not think you can change at a later stage either.

2. If i have granted 190 visa, in future if i wish to change to 189 is that possible? If possible wat is the process?

If you are granted a visa subclass 190 then yes you can still apply for 189 at the same time. Usually there is a pathway to convert a temporary visa into a permanent visa.

190 AND 189 are permanent visas but with 190 there is maybe an obligation to stay in the nominated territory.

3. According to 190 visa we should stay in NSW for 2 years.. so after 2 years can we move to other state..

Yes. You can move any where in Australia.

4.With 190 visa are we allowed to visit Melbourne... and other places of Australia?

Yes you can visit any part of Australia as long as your residence is still in NSW.

Kind Regards

JunaidJunaid Noorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952811793361022532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8499243768832871563.post-65454857840172948672015-07-15T17:08:14.496-07:002015-07-15T17:08:14.496-07:00Hi Junaid

The outcome of migration assessment from CPA is positive. Therefore, I'm eligible for the points claimed. However, because my migration assessment is an updated one, CPA Australia automatically nominated my ANZSCO occupation as 221111 General Accountant. My concern is that my current job is closely related to Finance manager 132211, and Corporate treasurer 221212. May I please ask if I need to request an update from CPA Australia for change of ANZSCO code and update my EOI on the skillselect account accordingly? I have a question in filling up an EOI, I have indicated in the work experience as follows:

Legal Officer I/Legal Officer III
NEDA Office
April 2008-present

I had an invite, when I am filling up the invitation I noticed that I should have put it in different rows the Legal Officer I -Legal Officer III, for example:

Legal Officer III
Neda Office
August 2012-present

Legal Officer II
Neda Office
April 2010-August 2012

Legal Officer I
Neda Office
April 2008-April 2010

Should I detailed it already in the visa application, would it have an effect on my visa application if I detailed it? Thanks.

Be aware if you are invited to apply for a visa, the information you submit in the EOI will be used as part of your application. If you provide incorrect, false or misleading information on your EOI, your application might be refused. It is your responsibility to access your EOI and update your details if your circumstances change.

It is your responsibility to update your EOI. It will be too late to update your EOI if you receive an invitation to lodge a visa application. Your invitation to lodge a visa is based only on the information presented in your EOI.

If you receive an invitation to apply, and your score under the points test is less than claimed in your EOI, your visa might be refused even if you are able to pass the points test or meet other threshold criteria. If you receive an invitation and your points have decreased or your personal information is not accurate, you do not have to proceed to make an application. You should correct the information in your EOI and wait to receive another invitation.

You must be able to support the claims you make in your EOI with documentation and have this documentation ready to provide when making your application. An invitation to make a visa application might be issued within a short timeframe after you submit your EOI. You will have 60 days from the date of invitation to make a valid visa application.Junaid Noorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952811793361022532noreply@blogger.com
